Job Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide nursing care to patients under the direction of registered nurses and doctors. They will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, implementing care plans, administering medications, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Perform basic nursing procedures such as taking vital signs, bandaging wounds, and administering medication.
2. Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures as needed.
3. Monitor and record patient symptoms and progress.
4. Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatment plans.
5. Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
7. Follow all healthcare regulations and protocols.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Must be a graduate of an accredited LPN program.
2. Current LPN license in the state of practice.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
5. Excellent clinical skills and attention to detail.
6. CPR certification.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
