Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (NICU)

Location: Grand Forks, ND
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The ideal candidate will work closely with the medical team to provide respiratory care to premature and critically ill infants.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assess and evaluate the respiratory needs of newborns in the NICU.
2. Administer and monitor respiratory therapies, medications, and treatments.
3. Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop treatment plans for infants with respiratory issues.
4. Educate parents on respiratory care techniques and equipment.
5. Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and meetings to discuss patient progress and care plans.
6. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
7. Stay current on advancements in respiratory therapy and neonatal care.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
2. Current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)|BLS|PALS|PALS
3. Valid state license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist.
4. Experience working in a NICU or pediatric setting preferred.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
7. Passion for providing top-quality care to newborns in need.
