Job title: Physical Therapist
Job Summary:
As a Physical Therapist, you will assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury. You will work closely with patients to help them achieve their physical therapy goals and improve their overall quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Evaluate and assess patients' physical condition and needs
- Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients' physicians
- Provide hands-on therapy and exercises to improve mobility and relieve pain
- Teach patients how to prevent or manage their condition
- Document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care
- Stay current on advancements in physical therapy techniques and treatments
Qualifications and Skills:
- Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- State licensure as a Physical Therapist
- CPR certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity
