Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide essential care and support to residents or patients in healthcare facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with the daily activities of residents, provide personal care, and ensure their overall well-being.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
2. Providing meal assistance and feeding residents who require help.
3. Monitoring and recording vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
4. Turning and repositioning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores.
5. Assisting residents with mobility and transferring them from beds to wheelchairs or vice versa.
6. Providing emotional support and companionship to residents.
7. Ensuring a clean and safe environment for residents.
8. Following all healthcare protocols and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
3. Current CNA certification.
4. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
6. Compassionate and caring attitude towards residents.
7. Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions carefully.
