Job Title: CNA LTC (Certified Nursing Assistant - Long Term Care)
Job Summary:
As a CNA LTC, you will be responsible for providing basic healthcare to patients in long-term care facilities under the supervision of registered nurses. Your role will involve assisting with daily activities, monitoring patient vital signs, and ensuring their comfort and wellbeing.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist patients with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and eating
- Take vital signs and record patient information
- Monitor patients' condition and report any changes to the nursing staff
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Help patients with mobility and physical therapy exercises
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for patients
- Follow all healthcare protocols and procedures
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of a state-approved CNA program
- Current CNA certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team setting
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to caregiving
- Basic medical knowledge and understanding of healthcare practices
- Physical stamina to lift and move patients as needed
