Job Title: MRI Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to join our team. The MRI Technologist will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of anatomy, patient positioning, and imaging techniques.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform MRI scans on patients according to physician orders
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
- Calibrate and maintain MRI equipment to ensure image quality
- Prepare and administer contrast agents when necessary
- Communicate with radiologists and healthcare providers to provide accurate and timely results
- Maintain patient records and imaging files in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
- ARRT certification in MRI
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- Strong understanding of MRI imaging techniques and protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
