Job Description

Job Title: Cath Lab RN

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cath Lab RN to join our team in providing exceptional care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures in the catheterization lab. The Cath Lab RN will assist in procedures, monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and educate patients on post-procedure care.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Assist cardiologists during cardiac catheterization procedures

2. Monitor patient vital signs before, during, and after procedures

3. Administer medications as directed by physicians

4. Educate patients on pre and post-procedure care

5. Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols

6. Document patient care and procedure outcomes accurately

7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Active RN license in the state of practice

2. BLS and ACLS certification

3. Minimum of 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience

4. Strong critical thinking and communication skills

5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively

6. Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures
