Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant - Long Term Care (CNA_LTC)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Long Term Care facility. The CNA_LTC will be responsible for providing quality care to residents and assisting them with activities of daily living. The ideal candidate will have a compassionate attitude and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist residents with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing
- Help residents with eating and drinking
- Monitor residents' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff
- Assist with mobility and transferring residents to and from beds and wheelchairs
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Follow care plans and communicate effectively with the nursing team
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active CNA certification in the state of employment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a long term care facility is preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to prioritize tasks and provide quality care to residents
