Job Title: Long Term Care Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Job Summary:
The Long Term Care CNA is responsible for providing quality care to residents in a long-term care facility. This includes assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring residents' health and well-being, and providing emotional support.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating
- Monitor residents' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff
- Help residents with mobility and physical therapy exercises
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Document care provided and report any concerns to the nursing staff
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working in a long-term care facility preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
