Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide basic care to patients in healthcare facilities under the supervision of licensed nurses. Your responsibilities will include assisting patients with activities of daily living, monitoring patients' vital signs, and reporting any changes in patients' conditions to the nursing staff.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assist patients with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing and grooming.
2. Help patients with mobility tasks, such as transferring to and from beds and wheelchairs.
3. Serve meals and assist patients with feeding if necessary.
4. Perform basic nursing procedures, such as taking and recording patients' vital signs.
5. Ensure patients' rooms are clean and organized.
6. Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
7. Follow all safety and infection control protocols.
8. Document all care provided to patients accurately and timely.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
3. Current certification as a CNA.
4. Good communication skills.
5. Compassion and empathy for patients.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
7. Strong attention to detail.
8. Physical stamina to lift and move patients as needed.
