Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team and assist our licensed physical therapists in helping patients recover from injuries and improve their mobility. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for helping others, and the ability to work in a team setting.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist physical therapists in creating and implementing treatment plans for patients
- Conduct exercises and stretches with patients to help improve their strength and mobility
- Monitor and record patient progress during therapy sessions
- Educate patients on how to properly perform exercises at home
- Assist with maintaining a clean and organized therapy area
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Certified Physical Therapy Assistant license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team setting
- Experience working with patients in a healthcare setting
