Job Title: Physical Therapist
Job Summary:
As a Physical Therapist, you will work with patients to improve their mobility, alleviate pain, and prevent disability. You will design and implement customized treatment plans to help patients regain strength and movement following injuries or surgeries.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose and develop treatment plans.
2. Provide hands-on therapy and exercises to improve patients' physical abilities.
3. Educate patients on at-home exercises and strategies for ongoing recovery.
4. Track and document patients' progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to provide comprehensive care.
6. Stay up-to-date on advancements in physical therapy techniques and technologies.
7. Adhere to legal and ethical standards in the field of physical therapy.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) degree.
2. State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Experience working with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
