Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Job Summary: As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will be responsible for providing essential care and support to patients in healthcare facilities under the supervision of nurses and other medical staff. Your role will involve assisting with daily activities, monitoring patients' vital signs, and ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assisting patients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and toileting.
2. Helping patients with mobility and other physical therapy exercises.
3. Monitoring patients' vital signs and reporting any changes to medical staff.
4. Assisting with meal preparation and feeding patients as needed.
5. Providing emotional support and companionship to patients.
6. Keeping patient rooms clean and organized.
7. Following all safety and infection control protocols.
8. Documenting patient care activities and observations accurately.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. High school diploma or GED.
2. Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
3. Current CNA certification.
4. Strong communication skills and empathy.
5. Ability to work well in a team environment.
6. Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move patients.
7. Knowledge of basic medical terminology.
8. Attention to detail and a compassionate nature.
