Job Summary: As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in a Long-Term Care (LTC) facility, you will be responsible for providing essential patient care and aiding in daily activities for residents. You will work under the supervision of licensed nurses to ensure the comfort and well-being of all residents.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assisting residents with their daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
2. Monitoring and reporting any changes in residents' condition to the nursing staff.
3. Taking vital signs and updating patient records.
4. Providing emotional support and companionship to residents.
5. Assisting with mobility and transferring residents.
6. Following infection control protocols and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
7. Communicating effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
2. High school diploma or equivalent.
3. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work in a team environment.
5. Compassionate and patient demeanor.
6. Physical stamina to lift and move patients.
7. Knowledge of basic nursing procedures.
