Shift: 12 Hours (Night)
Guarantee: 36 hours a week
Pay Rate: $1450/week for local and $1600/week for travel
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team and provide exceptional patient care. As an LPN, you will work under the supervision of registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to administer medications, monitor patients, and assist with daily living activities. Your expertise and commitment will contribute to a positive patient experience and ensure their overall well-being.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Administer medications and injections as prescribed by physicians.
2. Monitor patient vital signs and report any abnormal findings or changes in health status.
3. Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
4. Perform routine nursing procedures, such as wound care, catheterization, and EKGs.
5. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to healthcare regulations.
6. Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
7. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid LPN license issued by the state board of nursing.
2. High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited LPN program.
3. Demonstrated knowledge of nursing principles and practices.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
5. Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations and prioritize tasks accordingly.
6. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
7. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical software.
