Job: MRI Tech
Job Location: Boston, MA
Contract: 13 Weeks (Extension Available)
Shift: Day
Guarantee: 40 hours a week
Pay Rate: $2800/week local and $3000/week for travel

REQUIREMENTS:

Perform all required procedures through proper positioning and technique, consistently demonstrating good judgment in evaluating the resulting diagnostic studies.
Screen patient before exam for any contraindications or precautionary measures pertaining to the exam (e.g. pain, claustrophobia, allergies, etc.).
Obtain and review the requisition for examination to obtain information such as doctor’s order, patient history, and any other special requirements.
Thoroughly explain procedure and answer any patient questions in order to alleviate patient anxiety and facilitate patient cooperation.
Monitor the condition of any patient within the department and assist the radiologist in performing any needed medical attention.
