MED LAB TECH

Winnemucca, NV
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: EVENING 1300-213030, 5x8 (some weekends and holidays)

Facility Salary:

$50,000.00 to $60,000.00

Primary Responsibilities:

Microbiology: includes the subspecialties of Bacteriology, Mycobacteriology, Virology, and Parasitology.

Core Laboratory 1: includes General and Special Chemistry, Blood gases, Immunology, and Serology, and knowledge of manual and automation lines.

Core Laboratory 2: includes Hematology, Coagulation, Special Coagulation, and Urinalysis.

Transfusion Services (Blood Bank): includes Blood Transfusion medicine, and Blood Utilization and Waste.

Phlebotomist: Venipuncture and skin puncture. Specimen preparation for reference laboratories.

Experience

LIS: Experience with CERNER Laboratory Information System is favorable

Preferred, 5 years of experience working as a Laboratory Technologist at a Critical Access Hospital
