Job Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (RN-PCU)

Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit, you will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients with serious medical conditions. You will monitor patients' vital signs, administer medications, collaborate with the healthcare team, and ensure the well-being of patients in the PCU.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Monitor and assess patients' conditions

2. Administer medications and treatments

3. Collaborate with healthcare team members

4. Educate patients and families on treatment plans

5. Document patient care accurately

6. Respond to medical emergencies

7. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures

8. Maintain a safe and clean working environment

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Valid RN license

2. BLS and ACLS certification

3. Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience

4. Strong critical thinking and communication skills

5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

6. Knowledge of PCU nursing practices

7. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
