Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), your primary responsibility will be to provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed medical professionals. CNAs play a crucial role in assisting patients with daily tasks, monitoring vital signs, and providing emotional support to those in need.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assisting patients with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing and dressing
- Monitoring patients' vital signs and reporting any abnormalities to medical staff
- Helping patients with mobility and positioning to prevent pressure ulcers
- Providing emotional support and companionship to patients
- Assisting with feeding and toileting as needed
- Participating in team meetings to discuss patients' care plans
- Keeping accurate records of patients' care and progress
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
- Current certification as a CNA
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Compassion and patience towards patients
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Physical stamina to lift and move patients as needed
