Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will be responsible for providing basic care to patients in healthcare facilities under the supervision of nursing and medical staff. Your primary goal will be to ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of patients while promoting their independence and dignity.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assisting patients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff
- Feeding patients and helping them with mobility
- Turning and repositioning bedridden patients to prevent bed sores
- Assisting in medical procedures and treatments as directed by healthcare providers
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients
- Providing emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of a state-approved CNA program
- Current certification as a CNA
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Compassion and empathy for patients
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
