Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Long Term Care (LTC)
Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant in Long Term Care, you will be responsible for providing direct care to residents in a long-term care facility. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor patient health, and provide emotional support to residents and their families.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assist residents with bathing, grooming, and dressing
2. Monitor and record vital signs
3. Assist with feeding and toileting
4. Provide emotional support to residents and their families
5. Assist with transferring and repositioning residents
6. Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
7. Maintain a clean and orderly environment for residents
8. Follow care plans and communicate effectively with the nursing team
Qualifications and Skills:
1. High School diploma or equivalent
2. Completion of an approved CNA training program
3. Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state of employment
4. Ability to provide compassionate care to residents
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
7. Ability to lift and move residents as needed
8. Ability to work as part of a team
