Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. Your primary role will be to assist patients with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, and ensure the comfort and well-being of all residents.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assist patients with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
2. Help patients with mobility and transfers.
3. Monitor and record vital signs, intake and output, and other patient observations.
4. Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
5. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
6. Maintain a clean and organized patient environment.
7. Follow care plans and communicate any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff.
8. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the highest level of patient care.
9. Adhere to all facility policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
3. Current CNA certification.
4. CPR certification.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work well in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
7. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow directions.
8. Compassionate and patient-centered care approach.
