Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist X-Ray to perform diagnostic imaging examinations on patients using x-ray equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality images to assist physicians in properly diagnosing and treating patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Perform x-ray procedures on patients following established protocols.
2. Position patients correctly to ensure accurate imaging results.
3. Operate and maintain x-ray equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
4. Communicate with patients to explain procedures and address any concerns.
5. Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate imaging techniques.
6. Maintain patient records and ensure proper documentation of procedures.
7. Adhere to all radiation safety guidelines to protect patients and staff.
8. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current on advancements in radiologic technology.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
2. ARRT certification in Radiography.
3. State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
4. Strong technical skills and knowledge of x-ray equipment operation.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
7. Attention to detail and accuracy in performing imaging procedures.
