Job Title: CT Technologist
Shift: 13 weeks
Duration: M-F (12:30-11:00pm) - 4 days a week, every 4th weekend (04:30Ppm-01:00am) Saturday and Sunday
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Job Summary:
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) equipment. This includes preparing patients for procedures, operating CT scanners, and collaborating with medical staff to ensure accurate and high-quality images are obtained.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Prepare patients for CT imaging procedures.
2. Operate CT scanners and provide images for interpretation by radiologists.
3. Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning.
4. Collaborate with medical staff to ensure accurate imaging results.
5. Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
6. Keep accurate records of procedures performed.
7. Provide compassionate care to patients during procedures.
8. Stay current on advances in CT imaging technology.
9. Ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.
10. Assist with scheduling and coordinating patient appointments.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or related field.
2. ARRT certification in CT imaging.
3. State licensure as a radiologic technologist.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Attention to detail and ability to follow protocols.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods.
8. Familiarity with PACS and EMR systems.
9. Continuing education in CT imaging technology.
10. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
