Job Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Med Surg
Location: Mattoon, IL
Shift: 7P - 7:30A (12 Hour Nights)
Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg unit. The ideal candidate will provide quality nursing care to patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Assess and monitor patient status, including vital signs and symptoms

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians

- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans

- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care

- Document all patient interactions and interventions accurately and timely

Qualifications and Skills:

- Current RN license in the state of [Location]

- BLS certification

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Med Surg setting preferred

- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
