Shift: Nights 8 Hours

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate LPN/LVN to provide quality care to residents in a long-term care facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering medication, monitoring patient vital signs, assisting with daily living activities, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of residents.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers
2. Monitor patient vital signs and report any abnormalities to the nursing team
3. Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and eating
4. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create personalized care plans
5. Document patient care and progress in medical records
6. Provide emotional support and compassionate care to residents and their families
7. Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a safe and clean environment
8. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Current LPN/LVN license in the state of practice
2. Previous experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
5. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
6. Basic computer skills for documentation purposes
7. CPR certification required
