Location: Claremont, NH
Shift: Nights 8hr, 40hr guarantee
Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Summary:
As an LVN/LPN in the Long Term Care setting, you will be responsible for providing quality nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing facility. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being and comfort of residents.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
2. Monitor patients' vital signs and symptoms, reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
3. Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
4. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans for residents.
5. Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
6. Document patient care activities and communicate effectively with other healthcare providers.
7. Adhere to all facility policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and well-being.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current LVN/LPN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience in a long-term care setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures in long term care
