Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Albany, OR
Shift: Nights (1900-0730)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Summary:
The ICU Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing direct patient care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The RN will assess patients, monitor their vitals, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team to create individualized care plans for each patient.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor and assess patients' condition and vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Respond to emergencies and provide life-saving interventions as necessary
- Attend to the needs and requests of patients and their families
- Stay current on advances in critical care nursing practice
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care nursing
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Attention to detail and strong critical thinking skills
- Willingness to work long hours and rotating shifts
