Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech Therapist to join our team. The Speech Therapist will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. The successful candidate will work closely with patients to develop personalized therapy plans to help improve their communication skills and overall quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conducting evaluations to assess speech and language disorders
- Developing individualized therapy plans based on evaluation results
- Providing therapy sessions to improve speech and language skills
- Monitoring progress and adjusting therapy plans as needed
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, caregivers, and educators to provide comprehensive care
- Keeping detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans
- Educating patients and their families on strategies and exercises for improving communication skills
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Knowledge of various therapy techniques and tools for speech and language disorders
