Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: Corvallis, OR
Shift: Evening (1400-2230)
Duration: 13 weeks
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team and perform diagnostic imaging procedures using computerized tomography (CT) scanners. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing detailed images of internal organs, bones, soft tissue, and blood vessels to assist in the diagnosis of medical conditions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Operate CT equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures
- Prepare patients for CT scans and explain the procedure to them
- Position patients correctly for optimal imaging results
- Maintain and calibrate CT equipment as needed
- Monitor patients during scans and ensure their safety
- Record and analyze imaging results for interpretation by radiologists
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information
- Adhere to safety and regulatory guidelines at all times
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure privacy during procedures
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- ARRT certification in CT imaging
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT imaging
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in operating CT equipment and related software
