Shift: 6A - 6P ; 6pa - 6a
Duration: 13 weeks
Job Summary:
As an LVN/LPN, you will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians. This includes administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and providing basic patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Administer medication under the direction of a registered nurse or physician.
2. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
3. Assist with patient assessments and develop care plans.
4. Provide basic patient care, such as dressing wounds and changing bandages.
5. Educate patients and their families on healthcare needs and treatment plans.
6. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
8. Adhere to all nursing standards and regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Current LVN/LPN license in the state of practice.
2. Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
3. Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
4. Basic life support (BLS) certification required.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
7. Attention to detail and organizational skills.
