Job Title: Certified Surgical Tech
Job Summary:
As a Certified Surgical Tech, you will be responsible for assisting surgeons during surgical procedures, ensuring that the operating room is prepared and equipped for surgeries, and providing support to the surgical team. Your meticulous attention to detail and knowledge of surgical procedures will be essential in ensuring the safety and success of each operation.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Prepare operating room for surgical procedures
2. assist surgeons during surgeries
3. Hand instruments and supplies to surgeons during procedures
4. Sterilize and maintain surgical equipment
5. Monitor and maintain a sterile field
6. Assist with patient positioning and prepping
7. Provide support to the surgical team as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Certification as a Surgical Technologist
2. Completion of an accredited Surgical Tech program
3. Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and techniques
4. Excellent attention to detail
5. Ability to work well under pressure
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
7. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
