Location: MIDLAND, TX
Job Title: ER RN
Duration: 10 weeks (Possibility of extension)
Shift: MID (11:00am to 11:30pm)
Guaranteed Hours: 36hrs/week
Pay Rate: 52-55/hr
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the emergency room setting
2. Administering medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered by physicians
3. Performing triage, prioritizing patient needs based on acuity level
4. Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
5. Providing education and support to patients and families
6. Maintaining accurate and complete medical records
7. Adhering to hospital policies, procedures, and quality standards
8. Participating in continuous education and training to stay current with best practices in emergency nursing
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Current Texas RN license
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting
3. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
4. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work well under pressure and in high-stress situations
