Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Medical Surgical (ME-SS)
Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant in the Medical Surgical unit, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses. You will assist patients with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Provide basic patient care, including bathing, grooming, and feeding.
2. Assist patients with mobility and transfers.
3. Monitor and record patients' vital signs.
4. Assist with medical procedures as needed.
5. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patients' needs are met.
6. Maintain a clean and organized patient care environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Completion of a state-approved CNA program.
3. Current CNA certification.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
6. Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients.
