Guaranteed Hours: Nights
Shift: Night
Pay: $70-74 for (36 hours per week)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (R.N.) to join our team in the Med Surg/ED department for night shifts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical and emergency departments.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Providing direct patient care and support in a fast-paced environment
2. Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans
3. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
4. Monitoring and documenting patient progress and vital signs
5. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
6. Educating patients and families on health promotion and disease prevention
7. Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
8. Adhering to all hospital policies and procedures
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Current Registered Nurse (R.N.) licensure in the state of Colorado
2. BLS and ACLS certification
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical and/or emergency nursing
4. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
6. Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
7. Flexibility to work night shifts and weekends
8. BSN preferred but not required
