The Customer Support Technician will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to customers in a timely and efficient manner. This role will involve troubleshooting technical issues, resolving customer complaints, and escalating complex problems to the appropriate teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a strong technical background.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Respond to customer inquiries and resolve technical issues through phone, email, or chat
2. Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware and software problems
3. Provide technical support and guidance to customers on product usage
4. Document customer interactions and resolutions in the ticketing system
5. Collaborate with internal teams to address recurring technical issues
6. Escalate complex problems to the appropriate level of support
7. Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and technical skills
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in a customer support role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of computer hardware and software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
