Contract: 6 weeks

Location: Opelousas, LA
Shifts: Days 36 HR/WEEK
💰 Pay: $45/HR- $50/HR
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team. The ER RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assess and triage patients upon their arrival to the emergency room.
2. Provide hands-on care to patients in critical condition.
3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
4. Monitor and record patient vital signs.
5. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
6. Educate patients and their families about their condition and treatment plan.
7. Respond to medical emergencies and provide life-saving interventions.
8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
9. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Active RN license in the state of Louisiana.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience as an ER nurse.
3. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
4. Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
6. Ability to work well under pressure.
7. Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
8. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
