Job Title: Polysomnographer
Job Summary:
As a Polysomnographer, you will be responsible for conducting overnight sleep studies to diagnose sleep disorders in patients. You will be interpreting data collected during these studies to determine the appropriate course of treatment for patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Set up and calibrate polysomnographic equipment
- Monitor and record physiological data during sleep studies
- Analyze data to diagnose sleep disorders
- Work closely with physicians to develop treatment plans for patients
- Educate patients on sleep disorders and treatment options
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
- Associate's degree in Polysomnography or related field
- Experience conducting sleep studies and interpreting data
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work overnight shifts
