Shift: Days

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Pay Rate: $58-$63 per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced X-Ray Technician to join our team in Vail, CO. As an X-Ray Tech, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations, operating X-ray equipment, and ensuring the quality of images produced. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs.
2. Position patients properly to obtain the best images while ensuring their comfort and safety.
3. Operate and maintain X-ray equipment in accordance with safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines.
4. Review imaging results to ensure quality and accuracy, making adjustments as needed.
5. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and provide patient care.
6. Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
7. Adhere to all regulatory requirements and safety standards related to radiation exposure and patient care.
8. Provide assistance and support to patients throughout the imaging process, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
9. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with advances in medical imaging technology and techniques.

Qualifications:

1. Associate's degree or equivalent in radiologic technology from an accredited program.
2. ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
3. State licensure or certification as required by the state of Colorado.
4. Prior experience working as an X-Ray Technician in a healthcare setting preferred.
5. Strong technical skills and proficiency in operating X-ray equipment and related technology.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
7. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
8. Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and maintaining patient confidentiality.
9. Flexibility to adapt to changing work schedules and patient needs.
