Job Title: Respiratory Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for assessing patients with breathing difficulties, providing respiratory treatments and therapies, and educating patients on proper respiratory care. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of respiratory diseases and disorders and be able to provide quality care to patients of all ages. BLS, ACLS
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing patients with breathing difficulties and developing individualized treatment plans
- Performing diagnostic tests such as pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gases
- Administering medications, oxygen therapy, and breathing treatments
- Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Educating patients on proper respiratory care and disease management
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients with respiratory conditions
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
- Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
- Certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Proficiency in conducting respiratory assessments and providing treatments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
