Shift: Nights
Guaranteed Hours: 36hrs/week
Pay Rate: $30-$33/hr
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. The LPN will provide nursing care to patients in a healthcare facility under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills and a strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives of patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Administer medications and assist with treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
2. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
3. Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care to patients.
6. Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and treatments.
7. Follow all policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Graduation from an accredited LPN program.
2. Current LPN license in the state of Illinois.
3. CPR certification.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
6. Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
7. Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients.
